I was in Atlanta at the Blade show talking to Chuck Buck a few years ago and asked him if Buck had ever made medical tools and was told none that he knew of. ...I had bypass surgery and before the operation I had given the doc a Buck knife and asked him to do everything he could to save me. He told me medical instruments were very expensive and most were made in Germany and Japan. I think it would be a great idea if Buck made surgical instruments like cutters and saws . It would be a whole new field of collecting for Buck fans! It could be a profitable sideline too. I trust Buck for all my knive needs now and would love to see the company move into new areas like medical and surgical tools.

No really what you are talking about but I'll post these just for fun. Model 883 Code 3 Crosslocks c.2005. Came in red and gray smooth anodized aluminum with a sheath. I assume these were marketed for Paramedics.

I've used a 110 for field surgery many times, usually removing splitters or tick heads. Does that make it a medical tool?

Yes. OR the tip of a 110 to remove a nasty sliver. Buck medical tool for 28 dollars.

In fact if you can process game with a 110 I'm sure there isn't a surgery you couldn't perform with it.:D
