Buck Metro

What do you think about the Buck Metro? Not the one with the L.E.D, just the regular one. Wal-Mart has them on sale rite now for $7.99, and I will get one if they are woth it. If I wait a little longer, they will probably mark them down to $5 or less. They had LM Kick's for $9 last year, they would mark them down just about every week, I kept waiting for them to go down a little more, but that didn't happen. Sorry for getting off subject, but I am excited about the fall knife sales.

I picked up a few of these Metros when they were about $10 and think they are great little tools for small tasks where a larger knife would be inappropriate. For example, cutting those little plastic tags off clothing, etc.

$7.99 is a real bargain. If you can get them cheaper, all the better. Great little knife.

Like digdeep mentioned, it's a nice little knife that also doubles as a bottle opener. For a while I considered carrying it over my trusty SAK rambler, but in the end decided that the metro was less useful as it doesn't have scissors, screwdriver or a file. It now sits in a backpack pouch.
