Buck Mini Nighthawk questions

Hi!
I have the full sized Nighthawk (a great, tough knife), but the mini seems like it would be easier to carry and use around the house. I never see the minis anymore, and heard they were discontinued.
-How many were made?
-Why were they discontinued?
-How much are they worth new?

Also, if anyone has a mini, what are your opinions of it?

I can't give you an "user" impression as I have never really carried any of my Nighthawks. I have both, full size and mini in my collection and would feel very comfortable using either if I wanted to.

If you are looking to buy a Mini-Nighthawk, SMKW has them on sale at the moment in the new catalog and on the web site - 10-1/8" overall, black oxide blade, partially serrated, black and olive rubberized handle, w/ nylon sheath, for $19.99. If I didn't already have one I'd be buying....
