Wondering if anybody has seen the build out being offered for the 116? It has a cherry wood handle. They are saying only 4 left, anybody know how many were built? Or how long they have been offered? Thanks Ed.

I have one but I know nothing about the knife.

Thanks anyway guys, yes I am talking about the116 caper build out.

I see there are only 4 left, and was curious if anybody paid attention to how many they started with. Not that it really matters.

It came today, nice little knife. Here is a picture next to my Randall 10-4. They call it a salt water fishing knife, but it is closer to a caping knife IMHO.

O, I did not see that on the Buck website and that is why I thought he might have had a typo. That, and no one responded to his question so I thought everyone was as confused as I was. Obviously I was the only one confused.

The 116 Caper is a nice stubby little knife and that one looks real good. It is a caping knife. I like the way Buck now does their hollow grind and I am a sucker for red wood or bone.

Wow! Cant believe it’s been 5 years! Sorry my 116’s are not for sale but maybe you’ll shake one loose from someone’s grip.
I should have read the dates first. started clicking links and not seeing 116s and scratching my head......🦧 until I read your post and saw it was an older thread.

I think you have to be a paying member to instant message.

I think if you post your email in the correct form there are ways it can be picked up and you’ll be flooded with junk mail. Which is what I was trying to help with.

The cherrywood 116 is special not only because of the handle but it’s high polished blade.

At the time they listed the 116 and the skinner in cherrywood both high polished.
