Buck nighthawk refinishing

Hi guys I have a nighthawk 653 and I would like to get it refinished any ideas on how or who could or would do this?

I think I would hit it with a Scotch Brite pad (or wheel) and cold blue it myself. Or, you could Duracoat it. I prefer cold blue myself and you wouldn't have to send it out that way.

I would imagine that Buck could do it or Leroy at Triple R Knives.

I dont think Leroy could do it, but you could call him. I would scotch brite it and leave it natural steel color.

To give you an idea of what it would look like without the coating. Bought this one off the bay and the blade was painted to hide the abuse. I used paint remover on it and this is the result.

I like the 653..It's the only tonto[sic?]point knife I've ever had.Will the steel polish real bright?

It is a bit rough, I guess to have the coating stick to it. Never thought about making it shine.
