Nate,

this is not just the right place for you to ask a question about a modern Buck knife, we talk vintage style knives here. Before the moderator moves you why don't you go over to the Buck forum and ask this question. I think you will be do better..

300Bucks

Before anyone thinks I am being Ahole this message was over on the traditional forum and I hoped he would move it over here where more guys would know what knife he was talking about.....300

I picked up the straight edge first year production ATS-34 for around $20-25 NIB, I think this knife didn't get very popular for some reason, although Walmart has the Odyssey as one of there carried lines. Its the recycled paper whatever one, ECO something...

Not sure who moved it, but thank you.
And thanks for the info, I found this lying around the house (my dad says he bought it years ago) and I was just curious.

Naterfromdecader,
Traditional doesn't necessarily mean vintage, traditional knives are knives that fit in any of several patterns, such as Stockmans, peanuts, barlows, and such. On this site we talk about Buck knives. The Odessey is a cool knife, hold on to it maybe one day it become a popular collectable.

^ok thanks for the info! So basically it's for the old style of pocket knives that emphasize on utility and have more than one blade/tool. And i will hang onto it!
