I just purchased an OsysseyII and was wondering what the history of this model was. I have used an Odyssey I for some time as a user field knife and have passed it onto my son when he became an Eagle scout. We thought it was kind of humorous as his Scoutmaster carried one as well(inside joke). I was always intidated in the back of my mind by the blade shape, very pointy.
Both are now discontinued.

I believe the only difference is that the Odyssey II has carbon fiber scales and ATS-34 steel and the Odyssey I has thermoplastic scales and was available in ATS-34 (Odyssey I-ATS) or 420HC (Odyssey I-HCS)

I have a regular 420HC Odyssey and I love that pointy blade shape. Makes a great EDC pocket knife.

The Odyssey is a great knife one of my EDC since they came out. One of my favorite BUCK’s right up there with the 110 and 118. I have had mine long enough to have sharpened the blade to the point of being too thick, but still using it.
