I am in the process of updating my post in the Buck of the Month sticky to include the catalog and model numbers for each knife. After researching the 85 Bucks of the Month, I am needing catalog numbers for 8 knives. I am asking for your help to complete the list. The best location to find the catalog number is on the label that Buck puts on the box, like this:

Here's the list:

0055BRSBOTM-B 2020 February The 55 S30V, Granadillo wood with nickel silver bolsters

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

0152BRSBOTM = 17000
Thank you. Is 17000 below the barcode or off to the right like the one I highlighted in yellow above. The Cat. numbers are loosely in numeric order and I think your 152 should be closer to 13800 or so. I could be mistaken though.

Oh you are right. It isn't the catalog number. I'll look at the one I have.

In the many hours spent looking at BOTM's and boxes online, it appears the FB's are sold at the factory store in yellow boxes.

Wow. I can't believe Ozark would do that. Maybe somebody sold it to him that way.

Hot dog! We're getting close to having all 85. Thank you Tecate. Just need these:

Back in 2021 when BCCI stopped publishing the special projects in the March newsletters, we lost a very good resource. I wish they could have continued. Stopped about the same time that Joe Houser retired.

Both of these came in wood boxes. Which at least in my examples do not have the sticker with number on them. But there is a number down on the bottom right corner of the COA, next to the date. Is that possibly the number you seek?

O.B.

I think that is the "part number" for the COA

Thanks Old Biker. The catalog numbers are in numeric sequence, for all Buck knives, not just the BOTMs. Your two knives should have catalog numbers around 13000. In all the searching of BOTMs with the wood boxes, I only stumbled onto one that had a sticker like the black boxes have. The number in the lower right corner of the Certificates of Authenticity is interesting. Even other COAs on cards such as for the Project Stealth runs have a number like that. I am guessing that Buck assigns that unique number just to keep track of all of their COAs.

By the way, your 112 with scalloped cocobolo is one of the best looking knives Buck has ever produced! I wish I had one...
