Has anyone seen the Discovery Science Channel show Manufacturing? I watched it Sunday and lo and behold, they featured the Buck factory. It was an interesting show.

I would have liked to see that show. However, I have not owned a TV in about 30 years.

Haa... Fishhunter, I didn't know we're in the same boat. As we have a TV but no service connection and haven't since 1993. We raised our kids without TV. They didn't miss it. I guess we could get it now but we haven't missed it either. Besides we stay busy here on the farm. DM

I'm looking for it on their website. Could the name of the show be How It's Made?

No, it is a new show, at least on this side of the world. They did interviews with the folks, and everything. They showed them making knives and discussing the process. I tried looking it up and did find a reference (1!).

That is a great thing.

My hat is off to you both.

Finally saw the Modern Marvels show on Hunting Gear that included Buck knives plant processes with commentary by Chuck Buck. Talked about the innovation of the 110 in the early 60's.
