Okay, it's silly and I know it. But...

You buy a knife, it goes out of stock, and all information on the knife seemingly gets wiped from the website. Once a product page is made, could it be made available in an archive somewhere? Maybe make it available to BCCI only just to save confusion?

Why do I care? The short version of the story is that I'm kind of an information junkie. I grew up, so to speak, in an era where reliable information about knife trivialities was hard to come by. For example, my first love was the 300 series knives. I discovered that there are nearly endless variations of this simple knife, so I bought every variation I could find. Doing that without buying endless duplicates meant keeping very detailed notes on every knife.

Move on into the 21st century. Go to a web page, and every knife is detailed pretty well, and the descriptions are consistent. I love that. I add the maker's information to the record of each knife I buy; it makes a pretty nice history of that knife. Now, suppose you buy a 119 without a fuller, and add a Slim Select to the order to take advantage of the free shipping. You get the knives, go to the Slim Select page for your vital statistics, and Wham!

THE PRODUCT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CAN'T BE FOUND.

It's annoying.

Totally agree. I'm very OCD. Love all the history and details of everything I collect. Just an FYI. With the new design of the Buck website, I get that message all of the time . . . . Can't be found" (doing various searches and just simply refreshing a page). Now I always click on the Buck logo to go to the home page, then click again for what I am looking for. So many times "Can't be found" and then all of a sudden, there it is again. Poor redesign in my experience.

Huh. That worked. Interesting...

The new site doesn’t work for me on a mobile device. If I’m looking at a products page and want to hit the “load more” button, nothing happens. If I want to set filters nothing happens. I miss the old site
