Does anyone have any experience with either a Buck Camp Axe or a Fiskars Hatchet? Or another brand? I'm looking for a light, small, relatively inexpensive (less then $75) hatchet. Thanks for your help.

I have a fiskars hatchet i bought at REI and i have really been impressed by it. Very light and strong !!!

This is their Hatchet! It is also made by Fiskars! Just says Gerber on it! Very good tool and low weight. Chops very good and sharpens easily, This paired with a good fixed blade and SAK and or Multi tool and you are pretty set for Backwoods Stuff!

I think the Gransfors are the way to go!

And they should be in your price range.
That would be my pick. Also the Knives of Alaska Hunters Hatchet made from S7 steel. With a convexed edge, it chops like crazy.
