Would like to get your opinions of this knife. I purchased one over the weeekend and I really like it. It seems to be a good EDC blade that i can slip in my pocket and forget about it till it's needed.

One of my alltime favorites as far as performance, ergonomics and overall design goes. It's in my EDC rotation and I never leave it home on backpacking trips. I may buy another one or three as money permits.

uncomfomtable grip. i do not like the recurve. hell to sharpen and basically a chunk of 420hc. the sheath is crap as well. but they are cheap. i use mine for digging clams at the beach. about all its good for i.m.h.o.

I have the 143BK skinner.
I'll have to agree that the grip is not very ergonomic at all. I guess if you cord wrapped it that would help a bit.

Other then that I think it makes a good glove box/bottom of a kit, last ditch knife.

I own two and plan on getting both caper versions as soon as I can find them. They are so hot around here they sell out as soon as the stores get them in stock. Great little knives if you ask me!

BTW, I just posted a thread in the Buck Knife forum asking for a couple more blade designed in the Paklite line.

I like mine.

I did wrap the handle and that helps. The sheath is not the best but overall, I think it is a great value for $20.00.

Mine was extremely sharp from the box. I haven't used it enough to need to sharpen it, so can't comment on that aspect but being 420HC it should be like the other Buck knifes of that steel.

It is small, light, sturdy and handy and should be fine for a number of different uses.

I got one about ten days ago. I like it. It's easy to sharpen, light, and pocketable. The grip doesn't seem too bad-I'll wait and see this fall how it handles skinning deer and hogs. The sheath is not the best in the world, but I've got a kydex one coming for it that should be better.

A lot of knife for the money in my opinion

I really like mine. I cord wrapped the handle becuase as was said its a bit uncomfortable as is. Shealth is crap as others said, but all and all a pretty nice edc fixed blade. I think I might get a neck shealth made for it.

Man, I think the grip is the best part about this knife, personally... and I can sharpen the recurve just fine with a 1x4 hardstone.

That looks pretty cool. I'm gonna give mine a wrap job like that.:thumbup:

I did one of mine that way with paracord and the other with 1/4" leather strips. The leather almost makes it feel like a kabar.

You can wrap with OD green for bow season and wrap with Orange for gun season. I'ev seen a few with lighters or flint and steel wraped in the center for backup fire starters.

6th texas where did you find a kydex sheath for this knife ? I would like to get one. Thanks ,Travis

I have kydex sheaths for it and a Mora ordered from Marion David Poff. He's here on the forum

Haven't tried, but the jimping is in all the right places. I find the grip very secure for it's impressively small size.
