Any folks here in this program for police/firefighters/rangers, etc? Does it cost to join? Is there a decent discount on purchases? Thanks

I’m in the Pro Program because I’m a veteran but when I signed up I agreed to keep my discounts confidential.

I will say that I’ve used my discount several times. It does not cost to join.

You're welcome. Wish I could comment further.

For what it's worth, I don't recall getting any email solicitations that were directly related to my Pro discount. Buck pretty much leaves me alone in that regard. I just get the regular emails that everybody else gets.

I recommend that you sign up. You only have to use it if and when you want to. Buck never makes me feel obligated to use my Pro discount.

Buck recently updated their website. It used to be that when you are signed in on the website under your username and password, the regular price was crossed out and your discount was listed below it. With the new upgrade, you only see your discounted price. If you want to know how much you are saving, you have to visit the website without logging in. Then you will see the regular price. No big deal. Just a heads up on that.

Buck says my 28 years in service qualifies me for the Pro Program. So pleased! Promptly bought a new nickel silver 112 Ranger. Will post it when it arrives.

Approved for the Pro Program Monday morning, immediately purchased the 112. Expedited shipping arrived today and... bang! New 112, one of several I own and the first bought with nickel silver bolsters (and the Pro Prog discount!!). Have to thank Buck for consideration.

That was the toughest choice. Have experience with both, read a lot about the differences, then purchased the std 420 HC. not because I believe it the better metal, but wasn’t worth the price difference to me.
