Never seen one that wasn't made in the USA.

Well, i am just getting into BUCK knives. Not many peak my interest but the ones i listed do. I am thinking of getting them & just wanted to make sure. Many companies now have a line that is made overseas, to compete in the "cheap ass market" of people who don't want to spend over $10-$20 on a knife. Hopefully i will get the Frontiersman 124 for Christmas to start. Saw that knife when i was 7 years old & loved it. Now, 42 years later, i may actually own one.

Thanks again for your replies.

Cheers

Mike

Mike, they are all US made in Post Falls, Idaho. They are great still. Enjoy them. I hope you get that 124 for Christmas. I ordered one of the 2012 makes and promptly odered a second. You will be impressed.

Mike...all those you listed are US made as are all of our hunting products...and always will be. Enjoy

Do have a look at the 121 Fisherman/Guide. 5.5 inch blade and a must have in your Buck fixed blade collection.

Those are all great blades, I have at least five each of 119s and 110s just classics. I wish I would not have missed out on the Gen 2 skinner they had at Cabelas... waited for my club points to go on my card and they were gone. Buck does have some lower end folders made in China, but they seem to be OK, but I refuse to buy any in hopes that it will bring even those back to the USA, but that is a market for non knife people that just recognize the name. You really can't go wrong with a buck, I have never personally needed to send one back but know they stand behind all of their knives.

Thanks everyone. What a great bunch here. Hats off to CJ Buck for answering me here !!! I currently have a BUCK/Tops CSAR-T fixed blade (with tool kit) & a BUCK Silver Creek Bait Knife. I love them both. I bought the Bait knife because i thought it was the first time serrations were done right, IMHO anyways. Made in China but is an EXCELLENT knife. I was easily able to put a scary sharp edge on it. It has cut 3 different people (not me) pretty good. I warn them but for some reason, when i do that, they are like a bug & the bug zapper. LOL Oooooh look at the sharp edge, is it REALLY that sharp----BAMM---gotcha. It is. LOL. So far i am impressed with BUCK & am sure i will continue to be. Thanks again everyone !!! :D

Hoping when i retire in a few years, that i will be selling American Made Knives. If it works out, BUCK will be among them. Thanks again.

Cheers

Mike
