Buck has introduced its new Range folders with its first-ever crossbar lock. Available in Magnacut with aluminum grips or CM-154 with FRN grips. Haven't seen any pricing yet but they look promising... not that I need another knife...

I've had one since BLADE Atlanta and can say it's going to be a direct competitor for knives like the Kershaw Bel Air and others in that same space/price range. Just depends if you like Bucks, the colors offered, blade grind, etc. It's a great knife, all things considered.

I wanted a 790 Elite for several months after they were announced around the first of this year.

I guess I had too much time to think about it because I have lost interest. I don’t doubt for a second that they will be great knives.

It seems to me that Buck is copying the Benchmade pricing structure 😡. Keep jacking up prices to the highest level that the market will bear. The prices on the Range are ridiculous.

Yeah, talked about this to other people. How high, before you price yourself out of the market?
