Recently I picked up a Buck 112. It has brass bolsters and 5160 steel. Scales appear to be Charcoal Dymondwood. Buck Custom tang stamp and pile printed BOS 5160 with serial number 010 on the blade. It didn't have any paperwork, COA or box, only the sheath. It seems to be a pretty nice 112 and fit and finish is on par with what you would expect from Buck.

The seller said its a 1 of 100 knife but in my experience the serial number is usually followed by the number of knives produced so I'm not too sure it's an accurate statement.

Do any of you recognize this model and can you tell me how many were made with the serialized blade in this configuration? Any help is very much appreciated.

The seller is correct,it is 1 of 100.The first 100 were numbered but I'm not sure if there will be more which will not be numbered.I was fortunate to buy serial #008.

Thank you for the quick response Sportingspecialist! Looks like that's exactly the information I was looking for. Much appreciated!

I really like their 5160 steel. I'm thinking of a 112 too. I'm leaning toward Oak, but that Charcoal Dymondwood look really nice.
