I recently wrote Buck and asked them if they could repair my Buck 110 Folding Hunter. I admitted that I had abused this knife. The blade had a broken tip, reground blade, loose lock and dents in the brass bolsters. I used it 10 years ago at a seaport and I used it as a pry bar and hammer.
Buck agreed to put a new blade on for $9.50. They did not even ask for return postage. What a great bunch of folks. The knife came back tight and polished. They did a great job!
The bolsters still have some small dents (character) because I asked them to try and repair my knife, not replace it. Buck is a great company with a great product.
