I had a few Selector handles laying around, and some I didn't have blades for.
I always wanted an affordable damascus knife to be able to carry and found a maker in Idaho to shape some blades form my Selector handles.
Some of his blades operate (open/close) better than the factory Buck blades I got with the knives and some operate the same.
I have a functional American made knife from handle to blade that didn't cost to much.
Snake River Knives was the maker of the blades.
I really like the feather pattern on the big blade. I added the guthook to one so I can change the blade at the camp for utility or for skinning and not have to change the blade during the skinning. I would probably use a 691 Zipper for the work but have a great backup.
