Aside from the coating and sheath style, are they the same knife?

For those who have one overall impressions of them? I know many don't like the serrations and I'm not a fan either, would be nice for a version without those. Plus, that should be cheaper to make, one less production step.

Also, are those holes in the rear of the handle, or dimples of some sort? A lanyard is a plus in my view.

Thanks!

Yes,
They are essentially the same knife. They are holes at the end.of the knife. I took the handles off mine and wrapped with Paracord

I'd buy one of these in a heart beat if it didn't have serrations. I think it would make a great general purpose woods knife with a plain edge. I can't convince myself to buy one in its current form though. I emailed buck about it some time back. The person that answered wasn't optimistic about seeing these knives offered in plain edge. Maybe if enough of us complained.

Deere Man, I use a serrated edge just a few times a year...a serrated edge cut's lawn hoses perfectly! an Me too I'll stick to a standard blade, same with story with a Gut Hook knife too "seldom Used" but like always say "Different strokes, for different folks....
