I have two of the Buck Silver creek bait knives, one long and one a bit shorter, I don't know the model #s but they work great for fresh and salt water. They are extremely sharp right out of the box and keep their edge. The coating on the knife protect the steel from salt water and thus corrosion. The plastic snap in sheath is pretty good as well. I haven't had any problems with it, except for the fact its an off shore production. But, as its' been said here a million and 1 times, the China made bucks hold the same warranty an quality as the US made knives. I have to admit, I have a few of the China made Bucks and they are really good. I try not to buy off shore productions just out of principal, and I hate to have to, but I support Buck Knives and I'm sure they will bring those jobs home as soon as possible.
