Actually, it's $315 MSRP - and as low as $160 + s/h from one vendor. It's not a 'real' Buck - it's a Simonich design that falls between two of their models in Simonich Knives 'Mid-Tech' line. The standard 'Raven Combat' is a 7" x .200" version with a Paul Bos heat-treated S30V (Rc 59-60) blade and runs $329. The 4" Military Urban Raven model runs $199, same metal & heat-treat. Both include the Simonich 'buffalo' in the G10 scales - and look like the mid sized/thinner stock Buck 895.
I can't decide which one I want, as if I had any money now, so I haven't taken the plunge. The Simonich made units are less expensive than their custom knives - and come with Molle type sheaths. Rob Simonich passed away several years ago - his widow has kept his company and name alive - and the Buck relationship has likely helped there, too.
