Buck Sirus

I doubt Buck would make one that wasn't legal in all states.

Many of us have them.

Never heard of one being Illegal anywhere.

I have a sirus, and a tempest, and a rush...
They are awesome! Unsure of legality in all states! In WI as long as it doesnt open automatically with a switch or button its legal.

Probably not a good idea to go flashing it around in public. Someone could mis interpret it.

I think you said a mouthful Pack rat!
Just for work and fishing!

Mostly how you present them and around who... They finally made us quit wearing our 110s on our belts back in the early 90's... all those cool imprints of a 110 in the guys back pocket....er,,uh...NO... I don't watch guys butts,,,,just that 110 and skoal can imprints are hard to miss.... Least we could keep carrying them.. We were always the ones anyone called when there was a tough box to open.

Yeah, Mike... flashing is best for something else.....:D oops........don't mis intrepert that guys....lol....

I think I read that some jurisdictions are banning the AO's. If I remember correctly, Detroit area and another area around Chicago. They even went as far as a raid on the shop.

I have had my 298GY for over 7 months now. I cannot recall one day where I have not had it with me, even when carrying another knife as a backup.

Funny thing is my dog knows the sound of that click when it opens. I noticed this yesterday and have performed my own Pavlo's Dog testing to confirm. It all started around the time I would use the 298GY in the kitchen. You may recall, about the time when I cut my lip after licking of the cheese from the blade after a slicing a hot pizza (tip: let pizza cool before slicing).

So, that is when I started using the Sirus in the kitchen. You know how it goes, walk in the kitchen, find a hunk-o-meat or cheese, open the knife and cut a slice off.

Well, lately it's been a stick of salami. I can be in the kitchen doing whatever, click the 298GY open, and in comes the chubby beagle. Always thought it was just cause I was in the ktichen and she smelled the chow. Yesterday, I clicked the knife open to cut some tape....BAM! The dog is there. Tried it a few times today...just open the knife with auto assist and she came in every one of the five times.

Well, enough of my ramblin' stupid human-dog tricks. A long way to say that I, and my beagle, love my Sirus.

Several of my dogs have been smarter than the majority of the people I know... :D

My dogs know that the crinkling of bread bags means snack time...(they get the ends!)... ;)
