Buck skinner 925SP1

I was thinking about acquiring the buck skinner 925SP1.
Anyone that has experience with the knife?

Welcome, I've had no experience with that skinner, only the good old 103.

Many here have lots of experience with a variety of Buck products so hang on and someone will be along...post a pic of that model, that might aid in getting some responses.

Most Buck products are really good and function as intended. Good luck with your knife, Preston.

yea eee what pack rat says , i now remember seeing that in the catalogue and just as quickly deleting it from my memory , im still trying to talk myself into the $70 damascus blade upgrades for the 110's

Well, the BG42 should hold an edge better than 440C will so I am sure from a durability standpoint the blade steel is fine. You were not planning on using that knife this fall in the field, were you?

If you want to have experience with a knife, I would go buy a nice 103 Skinner with 420HC, I am also sure from a durability standpoint that the blade steel is fine. I don't have a 925SP1 and probably never will. A little beyond my budget
But, Powercut let us know how you like it!!!

I like the looks of these buck skinners. There have been a few of them issued in a few sizes. All of them are out of my price range . Here is a link to one and as always its $$$$$.
