I really like this knife design and it has the ultimate baddass look without all that mall ninja hoopla crap. My question is about the steel, I dont know much about 420HC except that it is higher carbon. How well does it cut? and Does it hold an edge well? Does it resharpen easily? Thanks in advance,

Brandon

I just got a 119 last week and agree it has that classic cool look about it. Bucks 420HC steel is hardened to 58 Rc and is a great blend of edge retention and ease of sharpening. My 119 is sharp but it's blade is a little too thick for fine cutting work like peeling an apple or something like that.

Here is a pic of mine:

Mine cuts exceptionally well. I have used it around the farm and on all kinds of game. It is one of the best all around knives for the $$
