Ok, so I've seen this list mentioned in various posts... so where does one find or obtain one??? And would that list include "exclusives", such as the bone handled Bass Pro knives or other exclusive runs (Ducks Unimited, REMF, NRA, etc..) ?

Thanks...

Update: While Google searching the internet for more info on a special project 192 knife I recently purchased, I stumbled over this in the search results... very interesting:

It is a bit of a chore, you have to search thru alot of material. They are interspersed thru all the old Newsletters. Also look at the end of the Model History section for more files. Yes, the special projects lists are by definition 'exclusives' but possibly only 90% complete (guessing).

Thanks guys, very much appreciated!!

I just looked at the newsletters, I found the info I was hoping for on two 192's I just picked up, and I can now add info in my collection spreadsheet for other project knives I have.

The last time the Special Project List had any entires made was 2006 and only 3 entires were made.

The BCCI special Projects in the news letters was started by Vern Taylor and he would drop the information into the letters at random and as said is a chore to find information. The later years this was updated by Joe Houser and has stopped with his retirement.

So... for the past few hours, I've been been cruising through the BCCI newsletter archives. WOW... what a plethora of information.

As a relatively new BCCI member and (now) active Buck accumulator... the information there is overwhelming and really great to look through. I don't think I'll be watching much of the boob-tube for awhile... this is infinitely a much more enjoyable and productive endeavor.

I would encourage all BCCI newcomers, and not so new newcomers to go through the newsletter archives on the BCCI website.

The 'Special Project' Bucks list is absolutely a great place to see what is possible. I hunted for odd 112's for years from it. Some I actually found but many have never made a appearance on Ebay or anywhere else. Be sure to check the build out list too as many really neat odd Bucks are there too.
