well i have bought 2 of these in the last 2 days. BUT, they are not identical knives. first one seems to have all metal handle; 2nd one is plastic over metal #826 with box & papers. here are both ebay links (auctions closed). could a knowledgeable Buck collector tell me what is going on ? ( one a fake?)

thanks, roland

They're real, there were 2 826s, Statue of Liberty & Statue of Liberty II, and there is an 825 Statue of Liberty(pewter), all 3 are releases from 1986.

so the II is the all metal handle ? any difference in current value or collector preference ? roland
