This is a set of Buck steak knives in a presentation case. I acquired these from a person related to the person who owned them. Their names and date of Vow commitments are engraved on the left side of blades. Truly a beautiful set of Bucks. The handles are Burgundy Micarta and presentation box is possibly Walnut. I'm definitely not an expert on wood types.

Thats a very nice set of knives! I bought a set for my wife when we were first married. We even used them from time to time until i found out they were too good to actually use! I love to pull the set out, along with the 3 knife Empress Trio, and use them for special occasions.

Thanks for your comeback Joe Houser on the steak knives. I think the former owner of these knives used to be an employee of Buck in California, and maybe was presented with this set. Not to sure of the history though. Just information through casual conversation with the seller.
