Buck street collectors edition not to be doubled

Hello Everyone,
I purchased the street knives with the names separately and each had a COA with each knife Number/500. Today I received a matching set with stand and the serial numbers are Numbers/ 1100. First I feel raising the amount is not right. Secondly to have one of a kind knife is not to have a second one in a matching set that has the same number. This is not just me but over 400 other people should be upset MR. Houser. Why are you doing this. You do commemorate everything under the sun to bring in the cash and now are making duplicates and playing on nobody saying anything because it's after all honest JOE. Please explain what this is about. My wallet is interested Sir Joe.

Could you post pics of the models you are referring to? I googled "street collectors edition" and didn't see them.
 
Sorry I do not post pics. To much trouble not a simple attachment. What it is is The federal, The weld ,the lochsa and the Magnolia in a collectors set with a glass case and stand It says 50 est. 1964 on the very top a metal COA and the 4 knives with number /1100
 
The boxed set was supposed to be limited to 110 sets and I believe the serial numbers were different then the 500 of each sold as singles. If your set is numbered in the 1100 range then Buck would have had to increase the number of sets 10 fold. Without photos to explain better what you're talking about I'm wondering if perhaps you aren't looking at something wrong.

Looking at the sets available on the large auction site, none with numbers above 110, you can see the individual knives in the set are numbered 036D/110D. The serial number and total sets have a D in cursive type script after the numbers. I believe you are mistaking the D after 110 for an 0 or it was engraved with an 0 by mistake.

I am a member #2939 BCCI lifetime member I am not a rookie at this. I know what I am looking at and it is not right. You are right about the boxed set only supposed to be 110 are they starting at 1000 that still is missing 10 knives. I tried calling Buck but they are in meetings. My knives say 1060/ 1100. I don't know and neither do you pics. won't change this.
 
Maybe it is 106/110 just using the first numbers. I do believe that is it. What a brain on my son he figured it out .
 
Badhammer you are so right, I feel like a fool with old eyes I needed a high powered magnifier to see the D. I am so very sorry. Bad me.
