I enjoy my 4 Buck 110 so much and having some extra change I ordered a couple Buck/Strider 880.I had never held or even seen one of these knives and my 1st impression was WOW their BIG and very sharp. My 2 knives have a Tanto and a spear point blades with ATS-34 steel.I really like the spear point and think it going to make a great Deer skinning knife.I'm kinda new to knife collecting and think Buck knives have some of the best values for the money in the knife market.I never read or seen much on Buck Strider folders and wonder what some of you guys thought of them.I tried to do a search and didn't come up with much. Thanks for your time.

Buck and Strider are not working together any more. So I am not sure that you will have many response. My opinion that it is really unfortunate because it was extremely good line in Buck production and I like my 880, my 888, as well as 882 (which I finaly make today with PE and G10). But this is all in the past...

Thanks, Vassili.

I have several including 880sp,880t,881sp,881t, and 888. They are extremely well made with top of the line materials and heat treat. My 881T is my back up blade and it is rock solid as are all the buck/strider line. Very sad it ended...

I have an 880 SP and it's a brute. Locks up like a bank vault, solid, smooth, holds a great edge. It's a little too big for convenient carrying in a jeans pocket or on a belt, for me at least, but great for an outdoor jacket pocket.
