Alright ever since I stumbled across the Buck Strider Line I wanted one. About a year and a half ago I bought what I thought would be the one knife I would ever need. That knife turned out to be the Buck Strider 880tx amazing knife. Well a couple of days ago it was stolen from me in my place of business. And know I find out the buck strider line is disc. I bought a new 880tx over ebay, and plan on buying the all black SBMF. What should I do with the 880tx know i am terrified it will fall off my pocket or It will get stolen and with it being disc. So Iam asking for some advice.

yeah but thats talking about a lot of money there buying 2 i bought the one of ebay for 114. but I cant find anymore 880 online. well iam basically going to buy the SBMF for work and the 880tx for everything else.

Yeah, stolen strider situations suck,i too had my 880 stolen..........buck used to have a note that came inside the box with each knife, and boy they were right!!!!

It read: Buck knives sometimes have a habit of walking Aaway,be carefull to whom you lend it and where you lay it down"..........wish i listened !!!!

Buck striders are one helluva knife, good luck with the new one!

I have the mini (881T) and I love it. Its too darn big to carry all the time, even though its the mini, so its in my car and is my 'special needs' knife.
