buck strider fake??

Yes its a fake Cheap Buck imatation
How ever this is the first Ive seen using a Buck model #
most of the others have not used model # they just copy Buck styles.
They also say buck on the blades. Print not stamped
There are acouple of threads on this search "fake" they will come up

Absolutely fake. Bums me out to see that sort of thing too, especially when the winning bidder gives me a call and I have to explain to them why they got such a great deal...:mad:
 
joe should we email you these listings ASAP when we see them?
as a official at buck you can contact Ebay and
inform them that they are knock offs and
ebay will pull the listing!!!
we cant because we are not employees . jest fans..
 
Can you give me some details as to what makes this a fake? I have seen several for sale before, curious to know how to identify them.

It is just like counterfeit money. If you know what the real thing looks like, you have no trouble spotting a fake.

As Larry said and logos are stamped Buck Strider on the left and BOS flame
on the right of the tang....not etched.
 
When I am made aware of these, I forward them onto our legal guy. Hopefully there is something that can be done to make them stop.
As far as how to tell a fake from the real thing, it really is like Larry said. If you see one and are unsure, feel free to contact me and I will take a look for you.
 
There's another identical one on Ebay now I'm bidding on! I reported it to Ebay officials. I guess its true...if its sounds too good to be true it probably is!
 
its sad that people do that... they make fakes while that could make there on customs and sell for much more...
