WELL..I JUST GOT MINE!! YOU KNOW...AFTER GETTING THIS HUNK OF STEEL..
I LOOKED AT THE REST...A COLLECTION OF NICE BLADES..AND I JUST WANTED
TO SELL THEM ALL... DID ANYONE ELSE FEEL THAT WAY???
WE NEED A PERM STRIDER FOLDER THREAD...

:D Yes, I feel the same way. Over the past year I've carried a Benchmade 710 and 910, Emerson CQC7 and P-SARK on the job, and now they feel almost like toys. The sheer brute size and strength have made my Buck/Strider SP my EDC. Absolutely awesome!:D :D

hmm..its at home..im at work..ill check later today..but
its almost 10 inches open..weighs 1/4 pound and ...surprisingly..
fits well in the front levi pocket and carrys so well you dont even
notice its there...well..the ladys might..but thats another buck story..hehehe...darkman

if you guys like the buck/strider you should check out the real one, i got the 4" and 3" tanto versions then i got a strider GB(the tanto folder) i wasnt sure if it was really gonna be worth 3 times as much, but it definetaly is.
now you can actually order them without having to wait forever at www.bladeart.com

5.5" long
1.25 wide
5/8" thick
thats at the large end..it tapers a bit
ends up 1 3/4" at the tapered end because the blade butt
height is quite hi..so it knid of makes it a big rectangle
when its laying flat on its side.

Heres a pic of mine that I customized alittle!!
Can't really tell from the pic but the blade is 2tone and all the hardwear has a mirror polish as well as the hollow grind and false edge. The flat of the blade is still satin. Also removed the texture from handles and polished them.:)

Works for me....We need a Buck Strider forum. The knife is BAD- Big Aggressive and Durable.

the handle bit really intriqued me! it actually looks good!
im begining to build custom grips for them..in exotic woods..
when i have a few sets ready, ill post pics n prices..case anyone
would like a set...im going to do california buckeye burl, curly maple
and hickory burl, maby thia burl.. when my large mammoth pieces
arrive..ill build some mammoth bark grips for a few...
making grips for the buck strider isnt like doin it for other
knives...you woulnt know why unless youve ever taken one apart and
put it back together..then..you know why. most grips couldnt cut it..
just putting them on the b/s will destroy them. special steps need
to be taken to prevent it. dm
