I recently bought a Buck Strider at a Gun Show, w/o box and was wondering if someone could tell me what model it is.I don't have a camera so sorry no pics.
I'm hoping its not a conterfiet but if it is it's still a rock solid knife.
Here goes.
It has black G-10 scales with no Buck on it.
4- screw construction.
the blade is a Tanto and only says Strider Buck with the Strider symbol above the opening hole.
No other markings,no blade steel,no USA,no Bos heat-treat mark.
The clip is odd, its a 3 screw type and the screws are vertical of eachother.

It's a great knife regardless of its origin, it locks up solid and is a Tank.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance-jon

I don't know. I searched for images of Strider/Buck on a popular engine, and only found models 880 and 881 with tanto blades, but they have thumb studs, and appear to have the clip attached via screws in a triangle.

Pics? I'm not aware of a B/S folder with an opening hole and a tanto blade. They built a couple of folders with holes in their blades, (IE. The Strider-Buck Military folder, iirc), but they weren't ground as tantos...

Congratulations! You paid real money for a fake knife. You got took. It's just as bad as if you used counterfeit money to buy a real knife.
