I'm sure it's already been done, but has anyone reviewed either the Buck FB or ML? They look like fairly capable knives and 420HC seems like a pretty decent steel choice for a large fixed blade. Any experience, input, or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Mass produced, low end copy of a REAL Strider. There are much better knives in that price range. Now, the real REAL Strider is a different story. Exceptional, well made, and OK a bit pricey, but worth it.
If your intending on thinking you have a real Strider with that Buck....please....

I have the spearpoint version and for me the knife rather sucks. the overall design is good but for me, the steel doesn't quite hold an edge especially when compared to my gerber silver trident and MOD mark v which use far better steels

I carry the spearpoint in the trunk of my car. No, it's not in the same league as a "real" Strider, but it's a great car trunk knife. The BOS treated 420HC holds up well... no sign of rust after almost two years in a sometimes damp trunk.
