Can anyone tell me what the specs are on the new Buck/Strider 882SBTG CMT? I see from the Buck website the overall dimensions and G10 is used instead of FRN, but what about the thickness of the blade and liner? Is the liner made from Ti. or stainless steel? What about pivot pin diameter; how does it compare to the original SnG at .390”. Are the thrust washers phosphor bronze, Teflon, Nylatron or something else. Is it available yet, if not, when? Any information or help would be most appreciated, thanks.

Blade finishes out at .158
Liner is .050 Stainless Steel
Pivot is same as Early SNG
Washers are Phosphor Bronze
Available Oct 04

Will this be available with a plain edge or will a plain edge just be limited to special runs?

I wouldn't mind getting one of these. I would prefer a plain edge though.

Any chance we will see a run of plain edge?

Plain edge will be available, hopefully soon. The factory is up and running and we will have them turn some out when we can.
