So I've come across some pictures of the Buck Strider collaboration, read some reviews and have decided I would like to get my mitts on one. So I see there are three model numbers, the 882, the 887 and the 889. Can anyone explain to me the difference in these three models or point me in the right direction. I would like to get a plain edge with the ATS-34 Bos treated steel. I realize they are no longer in production so it may be difficult to get one but want to make sure I know what I'm looking for when searching around. thanks in advance for any help and guidance you guys can give. Trevor~

882 SBTG G-10 handles, and ATS-34 blade.(Handles are screwed together and serrated blade)

887 police knife. "TACCOM handles (riveted) and serrated ATS-34 blade.

889 "TACCOM"colored handles and black oxide coated 420HC plain edge blade. Handles were also riveted.

The Plain edge ATS-34 blades are hard to come by and were mainly build outs I believe. The plain edge ATs-34 blade was not a production knife unfortunately. In my opinion only, the SBTG knife with the G-10 handles is the best version. There is nothing wrong with the Taccom handles, but I prefer the G-10. (YMMV)

Here's a pic for teaser :D
