Hey, does anybody have one of the SOE sheaths that fit the Solution? If so, could you please check the tag and see if there's a model/part # ?

I have one of the First Run Solutions in BG-42, and dearly love it. However, the sheath is not on par with the SOE-made sheath that a buddy of mine has his in (which he bought a lone time ago). The material seems to be thinner, with less reinforcing stitches along the borders, and the knife rattles around inside the kydex. I got in touch with SOE, and they kinda remember it, but said they're not really sure which bucket (?) they used for those, and would either need the information from the tag, or my knife to try randomly on their leftover sheaths.

Many thanks for any help!

SOE makes great sheaths and our first run had them, however, due to costing and quantity issues we had to have them built by someone else. Nothing negative about SOE, just at the time they weren't as big as they are now. I still recommend SOE sheaths and all of my Striders have them. We are looking into some new sheath options for our fixed kknives and I am sure SOE will be in the running.

The main difference in the 888 sheaths is

1. SOE triple stitches edgetape, Ours is double stitched.

Exact same materials

The Kydex allows ambi use but is not as snug as a side specific one.

Hope that helps,

Josh

Thanks, it does. Any suggestions for snugging the kydex up a tad? Is the insert stuck or formed together, or is it just that screw on the end? If it's just the latter, I guess I could line it with something.
