Buck Strider Solution Question

I've had this knife for some years and have a question about its date of manufacture. If I understand the date chart correctly, the blade is stamped with a symbol that indicates it was made in 2001 (first photo). However, the label on the end panel of the box seems to suggest a 2003 date (second photo). Anyone know which is correct?

It seems likely that the blade was made in 2001 but not assembled/sold until 2003.

In a prior thread on March 13, 2023 the moderator Buck Knives Inc. made this statement. "The sticker only represents the day it was packaged and boxed not necessarily when the blade was produced." That answers the OP's question definitively.
