Buck Strider Solution

I just won one of these knives on eBay, and I wanted to know what people thought about them. Who owns one? What do you think?

It looks like a pretty nice knife...I'll have to see...

BTW, if anyone can point me to any other threads about this knife, that would be great! I can't search right now...:(

have a first production run #220/500 in BG-42,all i can say is it's a great knife,no problems at all and holds a razor edge

I carried a BG-42 Solution (and a Busse Basic 9) through 4 weeks of rain and river conditions in Alaska this summer. It held an edge very well and never rusted a bit (nor did the Basic 9). I filleted a lot of silver salmon with it. I leave the skin on to prevent the fish from burning on the grill. So long as you don't need a long, thin blade to slice the skin off the fillet, the Solution works fine.

I'm not looking for a fillet knife, so I guess I'm okay. ;)
