Buck Strider SP Blade size

I just visited Gator97's site with pics and review of the Buck Strider. He says that the blade length 3 3/4 in. He also backs this up with a side by side pic with a BM 710(3.9 in.). Why do all other sites (Buck, stores, reviews,etc.)say the blade length is 4 in. My wife bought me one of these for Christmas so I'm really interested and curious about the true blade length and cutting edge length. Thanks, Alex

Measuring my Buck Strider spearpoint from the bolster to the tip, I find the blade length to be 3.9" and the cutting edge to be .2" less than that.

Okay, now I'm really confused. How did Gator get the pic of the 710 with a longer blade?

Did he line the butts up or the points where the handle & blade meet? If he lined the butts up together that the handles are different lengths that may be where the pic's length difference is coming into play.
