It's the one w/G10 and torx screws.
Pros: looks awesome, very solid built, no blade play at all, reasonably sharp (P. Bos treated ATS34 steel), one-hand opening option (oval hole/stud/blade texture), pocket clip switchable for lefties, secure grip (G10 scales, big choil).
Cons: cuts not as well as my Endura (possibly due to blade thickness), thin liner (I've took the knife with reverse grip, made some slashes at the thick magazine, one reasonable impact at the back of the blade - and voila! the lock was disengaged. No stubbin' at the wood, you see), half-serrated (and no option for this model), overall balance (heavy handle, not good for hacking off tree branches)
I've got some questions/wishes to the Buck guys.
1. What are the factory sharpening angles? I got Spy's Sharpmaker as a regular sharpener device. 30 or 40 or maybe back bevel?
2.Will you continue the line of Buck Strider Taranis? I would like to have non-serrated edge. If you won't, could you sell the blade separately?
3. If you will extending the product line, I'd like to see blade a little longer (or a overall larger, like a Strider SMF)
Thank you for a good job! The knife is just beautiful.
