Buck Strider/Tarani in G-10 with plain edge is out

I am no expert but the scales on the ebay link look like G-10 to me. Question for anyone with the 882 what do you think of it, minus the old lock issue? Bulk, ease of open what ever?

Yep thats the G10 Plain Edge version. One of the guys from Buck stated (here on Bladeforums) a while ago that they would be making these. Check Here:

I have the combo edge version that I got from the same guy (AdamsArmory). I am awaiting the plain edge version that i just ordered. I love this knife. Fits my hand good, easy one hand opening and sharp as hell.

This guy did a review:

The design is very similar to Strider SNG except different steel and lock. All I can say is very useful for most cutting task becuse if different position you can hold and cut. You can hold for detail cutting. I like it except the tiny lock especially when you own SNG.

New Graham Knives have them too. I'm about to order one.

Are you sure they have the plain edge version? Only one I saw w/G-10 was the serated blade. I do see the plain edge version on the older 882 w/o the G-10 scales. Make sure you're getting the G-10 version, if that's what you want.

Hmmmm.. you're absolutely right. I wasn't looking carefully enough. Thanks for for waking me up, I nearly ordered the wrong thing! :)

Thought you might of made a mistake. Easy to do since the knives look the same in the pics. Glad to help out.
