Buck Strider Tarani Police folder liner lock problem

I just bought a Buck Strider Tarani Police folder, the big ugly one, and the liner lock appears to be loose. It looks like it could close on me if I use it, am I being neurotic? It doesn't look too safe, any comments from Buck would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it seems loose, send it in we'll take care of it.

When the blade is locked open the blade should have no left/ right or up/down play.
