Buck/Strider/Terani liners

I heard somewhere that a new version of this knife has thicker liners and thus a thicker liner lock. Is this true and if so how much thicker are they? Where would I find one to purchase? :D :D :D

The new G10 Version has .050 Steel Liners versus the .040 of the standard 882.

The newer standard 882 s have a .040 liner, but the lock is much stiffer than the early models.

The G10 version will be available Oct 04
