I'm really curious as to what happened between the two companies.

What caused them to part ways?

This was probably covered elsewhere, but I'm unable to search the Forum.

There was this thing about the owner of Strider allegedly having faked military service records, or something along that line; did this have anything to do with it?

I'm not sure if I have the timeline right.

There is a ton of info about this in other threads within blade forums. Not so much here in the Buck sub forum.
