I saw a "Buck" knife on Ebay: Blade is marked BUCK on one side and Taiwan on other. Blade is 4.25" and overall 8.25". Also has with a standard looking Buck Nylon Sheath.

Does Buck have a line coming out of Taiwan now

Thanks,

well .... much to the discarn of us loyal die hards ... yes
and it is a quality product ....
i was given a slip joint non usa and i have used it and it is a good knife...
i would not collect the " international line" but have accepted that it is what will be .... jest glad that them doing that makes it so i can still have a usa made buck knife 110 !!!!
any other questions ?
welcome to the forum
pull up a chair and sit ritcheer and stay a spell
sooner or later trax the simmi offical greeter will come along and say HI...
ya found a nice spot to rest yo eyes for a spell ya have

i started to buy USA buck again after i saw a china made stockman that i was going to buy.
it was like sour milk it me and i refused it and bought another brand. i try to avoid china made knives.
i would buy a Taiwan made buck, for i believe this is still a free country.
i think the days are numbered of having a knife in this price range being made in the USA.
i am surprised at how many really old US knife companies have closed or are built overseas now.
keep in mind that i still like my Bucks and in the last three months bought a USA 110 and 119.
i will buy more this year.
but i do think the way things a going you will be kicking yourself for not buying that USA made knife when you can not get it anymore.

Yes...The New York Yankees signed two new prospects this week, both from the People's Republic of China (mainland)...a pitcher and a catcher...with the approval of all concerned...

How are their stats??? Do you think they'll make it to the Big League??? How will Chien Ming Wang react to them???

I own several Chinese and Taiwan made Bucks and they are decent quality knives. But for me they do not give me the same pride-in-ownership value that one of their US made models do.

My Feelings Also...
they are not what i would show off to a friend
i would rather loan a international buck out then my usa one
usa ones seem to ....
well has any one here never have a usa buck dissapear ?

I only buy USA Bucks. However, overseas Bucks go back to Post Falls for Quality Control inspection. Good knives for the price. If that's what it takes to keep Buck going and keep people in Idaho working, I can't complain.

I try and support Buck Knives and buy as many of the new Bucks made in U.S.A. as possible.... I do have a few made in China....very few compared to the ones made in U.S.A. and it will be that way with me .None from Taiwan ....that I remember.....but I will have to check.
I want my grandkids and their grandkids to be able to buy Bucks made in the U.S.A..
