Buck Tiburon Prototype?

I came across this knife on a special deal and was told it came from a former Buck Knife company employee and that it is a Prototype Buck had for a Multi-purpose fixed blade - I found out after asking around on another forum that this is like the Tiburon model but while the serrated edge is very sharp the blade in front of that needs a final edge - it appears it never had the bevel put on. It also has only 1.5" of serrated edge as opposed to the ads that say they have 3.75" of serrated edge. In comparing mine to ad pictures it appears to have less length in the serrated part but longer on the plain edge. It has a number of other features that lead me to believe as I was told that it's a prototype - total lack of any numbers, etchings or stampings from Buck or anything on the blade. The corner edges are very sharp in places - so much so that you could get a cut just sliding your hand on some of them so it seems slightly unfinished. I have high resolution pictures of it if anyone is interested. I am intersted in selling this knife. Can I post pictures here or only a link to pictures? Any interested buyers email matrix44@matrixkey.com and I will send you pics and my eBay name for a feedback rating (100%).

You can post pics on a remote site and link with the
tags...

That would make an interesting display; the unfinished prototype and a finished polished Tiburon, mounted above your desk, perhaps... :D

I got hold of John - president of Buck knife Collectors and he sent my pictures to someone at the Buck factory. Here was his response: 'I sent your pictures to Joe Houser at Buck Knives. He distributed the pictures to the engineers at the plant. Their general consensus was that your knife was a set up blade. It should have been scrapped, but made it out of the plant most likely in someone's lunch box. Hope this helps.'
That's about what I thought - so it does seem to be a proto or setup blade.
If anyone wants to buy this I'll offer it for sale or if not I will cut down the top of it to bring the blade to a sharp point in front, sharpen it the possibly put some nice handles on it. I'll still probably sell it when I'm done with it as I don't need a fixed blade beyond the ones I currently have.
