Does anyone know the reason that Buck stopped making Bucktools. I have a few different ones (350, 355, 360) and they're all very good tools. I'm curious why they were discontinued.

I have one of them as well (not sure which model)... I suspect it was competition and slow sales.

Thats the usual reason, not enough sales to justify keeping them around anymore. I've had a couple of my favorites discontinued as well. :(

The x-tract is cut from the same cloth of a multi-tool but more knife based I think. It has pliers, philips, flat-head, bottle, can opener and comes with a great case. I like the various colors they offer as well. Have you considered picking one of these to use? I myself do not like the plier based multi-tools cause I just don't use it enough, but with the x-tract it is easy to get to, everything locks in place and it is not cumbersome to use--everything is one-hand operational.

I do have an X-tract. I use it quite a bit. It's a great tool :)
