I just received my CSAR-T a few days ago. I really like the knife but there were a few issues. It is too big for pocket carry so I took the clip off. The clip hindered getting it in and out of the sheath. Problem solved. There wasn't much to grab on to for a quick deployment out of the sheath. A small loop of leather solved that issue. It's easy to deploy now. The sheath had 3 different loops plus a D-Ring for attachment. The D-Ring rubbed above my jeans and was very uncomfortable. The 3rd loop that attached to the snap was not needed and caused extra thickness to deal with. I sliced off the outer loop and the D-Ring, burned the edges to seal them. Another issue solved. The sheath is now comfortable to carry. The knife slides in and out of the sheath easily. The finger loop is a big plus. This knife will now become a part of my carry rotation. If you haven't seen or held one of these do yourself a favor and do so.

Thanks for the mod info, James! Nice pics too. Mine should be here next week.

I receiced two and one had the molle sheath and the other had the fold over....I think the molle sheath is a great idea for this blade, it allows you to place it right on a shoulder strap of a pack....good idea to me. I like having it there in reach and not bulging up my pocket or on the waist belt. As far as the knife...wow....great blade, I love it....now, if they'd just come out with a drop point version..........

That is an interesting sheath. Looks like it is only vertical belt carry. I'd love to see a frontal pic that isnt snapped. Is the front of the pouch reinforced?
I dont mind pocket carrying mine once I took the pocket clip off. I wear fat boy(comfort fit Levis) jeans so I got pocket room. If I wear the relaxed fit 550's, theyre a little too tight around the thigh to wedge that big hunka metal in. Time for a vantage or 560 at that point.

Off to work now, be back later in the day. A day out of the home (my home) office is nice.

James
