Just got this monster for an EDC, its the Buck/TOPS CSR-T.
Blade steal-ATS34, w/ the BOS logo
"4 inch blade, G10 handle w/belt clip, and nylon sheath

Holy Sh@# does any body know how heavy 8.9oz feels on your pocket. I measured the blade thickness, its 3/16 inch thick, thats a thick blade. This knife is made for some heavy duty work, I don't know about EDC.

Hey way to go mb, thats a big honker alright. I got one right away and love it. I pocket carry mine as I rarely wear a belt, except at work which they wouldnt allow a big honkin sheath on the side, and to church and though I certainly believe in the Sword of the Spirit, I'm sure the apostle Paul wasnt talkin Csar t:D

I took the clip off mine for 2 reasons, one I dont use em and if I did, it is so tight it was hard to use. Plus it was cutting into my leg.

I figger if the edge dulls and I get in trouble I can always beat my problems to death with it.:p

Enjoy, and let us know how it works in some field trials:thumbup:

Good pic also

Fritz

Fritz was yours sharp when you got it, mine wasn't but with a few swipes on the wet stone its sharp as a razor, really I can shave with it, I tryed and have a patch of hair missing off of my arm, I hope my wife doesn't see, she will think I'm going METRO or something.

mb,

Sharp, yes. As sharp as I have become accustomed to NIB Bucks, not at all. I had to stope 10-12 times each side on croc sticks and it shaves hair. It seems to me with all due respect that Buck has had some initial quality control issues on thier new release models. I think they are aware of it and being the outstanding company that they are, they are addressing it. I believe thats why it has taken so long to get th paradigms out-just to make darn sure they are right. Kudos to them for that.

Thanks,I've been needing a good laugh and that's funny! If you accidentally cut yourself and the only thing going through your mind is what a great knife you have,(you might be a Buckaholic) Thanks for the photo! :D

Very Nice. That's actually the BUCK that is on my next to
buy list. I never realized how big that knife was just from
reading the dimensions, but when I say a youtube video
about it......WOW, it is a Fistfull!!
Regards Sonny

I took my Buck CSR-T this weekend on a hike...mine came hair shaving sharp right from the box and I used it on just about everything needing to be cut. The blade worked awesome for me and still is sharp as can be. It actually worked out that the two others with me decided on getting one for themselves as well. It's a hand full but I was able to attach the molle sheath to my backpack strap and that made it easy to get to. It's a keeper!!

I like that molle sheath better than the one I got. I just picked one up for the wife of a friend of mine. She is surprising him on his Bday. I of course had to do a quality control check on it:D It came with the new sheath and I liked it alot better. Came sharper too.
